On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, following are its responses to the
adequacy letter.
DRMS - BRL must either reconstruct the Gob Pile #1 as designed or submit a
revised construction and reclamation plan that demonstrates that the current
configuration meets the requirements of Rules 4.09 and 4.10.
BRL - BRL will regrade the steep section on Gob Pile #1 to a 2H:1 V slope or
flatter.
2. DRMS - Please submit a summary of the required survey data indicating the
volume of cover material currently available for Gob Piles #1, #2, #3, and #4.
BRL - No cover material was moved during the quarter.
3. The attached letter from Huddleston -Berry responds to items 3 and 4. Enclosed
are three proctor curves that were not submitted with the second quarter report.
5. DRMS - Given the sharp rise in pore pressure observed at VWP -06 in June, the
Division will require that the monthly VWP monitoring frequency be continued, for
VWP -06 and VWP -08, at least until the pressures decrease or level out.
