The site selected for the aforementioned pipeline
occupies land southwest of Steamboat Springs in section 28, T5N, R86W. The proposed
activities will utilize existing County and ranch road for access.
General Information
The Foidel Creek Mine is an area that has existing facilities from current mining activity.
Existing vegetation is predominantly sagebrush, grassland, mountain shrub, mined and
reclaimed mine.
The Twenty Mile Park area has been historically important for greater sage grouse,
Columbian sharp- tailed grouse, elk, mule deer and antelope as well as numerous small
mammals and raptors.
Potential Impacts
The majority of the impacts to wildlife from the construction of the proposed Pipelines
and Coreholes should be minimal due to the limited amount of acres disturbed and
utilizing existing road for access.
STATE OF COLORADO
John W.
