4 (Form 2-Public filing)
5. Describe proposed surface excavation or other land disturbance, including roads, pits, trenches, waste piles, drill pads and
collar areas of underground workings,ponds,etc...
Project Description: This Project is an exploration Project. Honey Badger Resources plans to access 16 drill holes from 8
pads located with in existing surface disturbance in the Project Area. Drill sites have been chosen to accommodate the J K
Smit Diesel(94 HP)Hydraulic Core Drill on Rubber Tracks,Weight=8000 k, Width=72", Length= 13 ft.
The surface disturbance of drill sites and the proposed activities(even though Honey Badger Resources will not be
constructing any new disturbance). Have been calculated each have an approximate surface disturbance of 50 feet long by 50
feet wide. Portable Containment troughs will be located adjacent to the drill sites in order to collect drill cuttings and manage
fluids. The locations of Honey Badger Resources proposed exploration activities are shown on the attached figures. Honey
Badger Resources will maintain the existing access road for safety purposes which will consist of smoothing of ruts and filling
holes where appropriate within the existing road disturbance. We propose to leave one hole open while drilling the adjacent
hole from the same rig setup. Both holes will be closed at that drill location before moving on to the next location. We do not
anticipate any disturbance outside of these areas, but should there be any the seed mix provide on line item 7.will use for
reseeding those areas.
6. Proposed Disturbance(approximate)Describe the proposed drilling to be conducted, including anticipated number of holes,
diameter, depth, location,etc... Submit additional pages if necessary:
A. Drill Pads: Quantity 5 Average Width 50(ft)Average Length 50(ft)
B. Drill Holes: Quantity 9 Depth 100' vertical, 150' length 43' to 200(ft) Diameter 1 (in)
C. Mud Pits: Quantity 0 Average Width 0(ft)Average Length 0(ft)Average Depth 0(ft)
D. Described proposed underground work, including reopening of old workings, advancement
of adits or shafts, trenches, pits, cuts, rock dumps,or other types of disturbance, describe
type,quantity and general dimensions:
None
E. Other Disturbances(please describe):
None
F. Indicate Chemicals and Fuels used or stored on site. List type, quantity and method to store.
Hazardous substances utilized at the Project will include diesel fuel, gasoline, and lubricating grease. Approximately 100
gallons of diesel fuel and gasoline will be stored in fuel delivery systems on the drill rig and support vehicles.
approximately 50 pounds of lubricating grease will be stored on the drill rig or transported by drill trucks. In the event
that hazardous or regulated materials were spilled, measures will be taken to control the spill and MLRD will be notified
as required. Any hazardous substance spills will be cleaned immediately and any resulting waste will be transferred off
site in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.Contract drillers will maintain spill kits on site
for use in case of a spill.
3. New Road(s): Length (ft)Width (ft)
Significantly Upgraded Road(s) Length (ft)Width (ft)
Are culverts or other crossings proposed? If so,please describe:
