The revision dealt with the addition of approximately sixteen hundred <br />and fifty six acres to the permit area. <br />Review Process <br />The Division received the RN -06 application from BME on January 22, 2014. The submittal <br />included an application form for a permit renewal, a proposed public notice and proof of liability <br />insurance. <br />The RN -06 application was deemed complete on January 30, 2014. Public Notices were <br />published in the Rio Blanco Herald Times for four consecutive weeks beginning on February 20, <br />2014 and ending on March 14, 2014. Copies of the application were filed with the Town Clerk's <br />Office at the Rangely Town Hall, and the Denver office of the Division. Letters regarding the <br />RN -06 application were sent by the Division on January 30, 2014 to the Rio Blanco County <br />Commissioners, Rio Blanco County Planning Department, Office of Archaeology and Historic <br />Preservation, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, Department of Natural Resources — Division of <br />Water Resources, Department of Interior - Office of Surface Mining, and Blue Mountain Energy. <br />A comment letter was received from the Colorado Historic Society dated February 14, 2014. <br />This letter stated that due to no modifications or revisions being proposed to the existing permit, <br />a finding of no historic properties affected is appropriate for the proposed undertaking. <br />The Division sent a total of nine adequacy review comments to BME between March 27, 2014 <br />and July 21, 2014. BME submitted the final set of adequacy responses on July 24, 2014, which <br />adequately addressed all of the Division's review questions. <br />The Division conducted Applicant Violator System checks on April 4, 2014 and August 6, 2014 <br />and found that there were no violations reported for BME. <br />21 <br />
