Annual Report: Phil Sheridan Lode Mine Permit
M- 1988 -081
Due to the many natural and man caused challenges during the year,
very little time could be spent in pursuing the mining and sampling of
the vein structure underground.
The loss of my house in the Fourmile Canyon fire has been a
devastating experience and the re- building of my house, on the
adjoining property, has occupied most of my time. Sampling in the past
has shown that the Phil Sheridan is one of the richest vein structures in
the region. All of the assays, assay reports and ore specimens were lost
in the fire and the time spent in re- building my house has made it
difficult to replace that information.
I am currently attempting to clear out the mud and silt that the
September flood brought into the underground tunnel and surface of
the cymoid structure which is the main ore body. Nine visible narrow
veins merge near an aplite dike and all carry abundant sylvanite.
AuAgTe2
Harry Covey, Owner, operator
XdJVZ1--
