ITC Resources, LLC
135 Meeker St 970-387-0600
Delta, Co 81413 Email:Info@ITCResources.us
August 5, 2014
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist RECEIVED ,
Colorado Division of Reclamation
Mining and Safety PAU6 1 1 2014
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, Co 80203 DIVISION OF RECLAMATION
MINING AND SAFETY
Mr. Oswald,
The following is our resOnsn regards to the letter you sent dated August 1 St, 2014.
This should address the`questions you submitted to us in regards to the Vulcan
Exploration Project, File No. P-2014-Q10, Technical Adequacy Review.
1. There are no mudpits to 'bee constructed at any drilling sites. Portable
containment troughs will be used.
2. No earthwork will need to done, all drilling sites chosen will accommodate
the J K Smit Diesel (94 HP) Hydraulic Core Drill on Rubber Tracks, Weight=
8000 k, Width= 72", Length= 13'. The 1978 Ford F600 4X4 water truck with
a 1000 gallon water tank. And support vehicles for the drilling crew and
geologists.
3. The seeding mixture is included in case there is any disturbance outside of the
historically disturbed area. We do not anticipate any disturbance outside of
these areas, but should there be any then this is the seed mix we will use
reseeding those areas.
4. Our plan is to drill two holes on each drill setup. We will leave one hole open
while drilling the hole next to it. Both holes will be closed at that drill
location before moving on to the next location.
If you have any questions, or if these responses need further clarification, then please
contact me at any time.
Sincerely,
Jeff Schaaf
ITC Resources, LLC
