Watterson <br />Twentymile Coal Company <br />29515 Routt County Road #27 <br />Oak Creek, CO 84067 <br />RE: Twentymile Coal Company, Permit C -82 -056 <br />Second Quarter 2014 Discharge Monitoring Report Review (Permit CO- 0027154, CO- 0036684, <br />CO- 0042161, COG - 850054, COG - 850051) <br />June 2014 Discharge Monitoring Report (CO- 0027154) <br />Dear Mr. Watterson: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS) has reviewed and found the above <br />referenced reports to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2). The Second Quarter Discharge Monitoring <br />Reports for the above referenced CDPS Permits were received by the Division on 22 July 2014; the reports <br />cover the time period from 01 April 2014 through 30 June 2014 and 01 june 2014 through 30 June 2014 <br />(CO- 0027154). <br />Permit CO- 0027154 - Outfalls 002A /002Q (Pond T), 006A /006Q (Pond E), 008A /008Q (Pond G), 005A, <br />005W, MONS, 005Q (Pond D), 007A /007W /MON7 /007Q (Pond F), and 003A /003Q (Pond B) discharged <br />during the second quarter 2014. <br />During the month of June only Outfalls 005A /005W /MON5/005Q (all Pond D) and 006A /006Q (Pond E) <br />discharged <br />No exceedances were noted for the quarter or during June 2014. <br />During the second quarter 2014 WET tests were collected for Outfalls 005 and 007. The tests indicated <br />that the effluent was not acutely toxic to Daphnia magna. <br />Permit CO- 0036684 - Outfall 001A /001W /MON1 (Site 62) discharged during the second quarter 2014. No <br />exceedances were noted. <br />During the second quarter 2014, WET tests were collected for Outfall 001A.
