I, Jared Ebert of the
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. Mr. John Terry with New Elk
Coal Company was aware of the inspection but did not accompany me during the inspection. The weather was
clear and warm.
REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15
Vegetative Cover; Timing:
This area has been revegetated. Primarily perennial grasses have established at the site and the area
appears stable. On the north east side of the site, a small drainage has several straw bales in place to catch
sediment. Some sediment has built up behind the bales but overall the drainage appeares functional.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: None
OTHER (SPECIFY): NA
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0
Page 2 of 6
