PERMIT#: M-2001-001
INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: KAP
INSPECTION DATE:July 24,2014
OBSERVATIONS
This inspection was conducted as part of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety monitoring program.
The site was not active at the time of the inspection, but much of the permitted area is disturbed as a result of
mining activity. Equipment was onsite and stockpiles of processed materials are present. Scales and a scale
house are located on the site.
The berm along the river side of the site is thickly infested with Canada thistle. The operator must take
measures to control these weeds. Please see problem cited at the beginning of this report.
There is a barrel in the pond near the dewatering pump. It could not be determined whether the barrel has
any contents but the barrel must be removed from the water. If other barrels are submerged in the ponds
these must also be removed. Please see problem cited at the beginning of this report.
A bond calculation was performed as part of this inspection. The current bond amount is adequate for
reclamation of the site.
