So, I am assuming that the changes they are proposing (as shown on the attached map) are
acceptable. West Elk really wants to move on this and they would like me to propose a decision on Tuesday, 5
August 2014 (this is the earliest possible date I can do the decision if all goes well). Anyway, what I need from
you is a letter stating that the proposed changes are acceptable to the USFS.
Again, given West Elk's desire to have this permitting action wrapped up quickly, I am asking for your letter
ASAP. And by ASAP I mean that if I can get it by next Wednesday, 30 July 2014, that would be great. Please
let me know if you have any questions or need any other information. Thanks and have a great day!
James R Stark
Environmental Protection r
A&VCOLORADO
Division crf Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
P 303.366,3567 I F 303,832,3106
1313 Sherman Street St,, Suite 215, Denver, CO 30203
jim.stark @state.co.us I http; //mining. state. co. us
https: / /mai l.g oog le.conVmai 1 /u /0 / ?ui =2 &i k=e29129fcb5 &view pt &search =i nbox&th= 1475eed54bf0af3d &si ml= 1475eed54bf0af3d 1 /1
