EXHIBIT E Reclamation Plan
The reclamation plan remains unchanged from what was approved in 1989. This original plan is
re- stated:
"This pit will be reclaimed by leaving a pond area which can collect rainfall to water livestock.
The upper portion of the pit area will be back - sloped at slopes no steeper than 2:1. That area
within 5 feet of the proposed water line will be back - sloped at slopes no great than 3:1. The
resulting area will then be reseeded using the recommended grass mixture as follows:
Western Wheatgrass 4.8 libs.
Sideoats Gramma 3.6 lbs.
Blue Gramma 0.9 lbs.
9.3 lbs. PLS /Acre
Topsoil will be put back before reseeding occurs.
This area is not grazed continually. If necessary, it will be fenced off until the grass is
established before grazing is allowed."
a) The access driveways will be left intact once the mining is complete.
b) There are no other reclamation treatments to note for this site.
Schneller Clay Pit Page 5
