Box 1030 <br />N Rio Grande Ave. <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />970 -527 -4131 <br />File Code: 2820 <br />Date: July 22, 2014 <br />The Paonia Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests <br />(GMUG) has completed its review of Mountain Coal Company's Technical Revision -135, <br />proposing minor changes in the location of methane drainage wells and associated road access in <br />the E6 panel of the E Seam Methane Drainage Wells Project on National Forest System lands. <br />Our review has found that this proposal is subject to the March 2008 Record of Decision (2008) <br />for the E Seam Methane Drainage Wells Project. Its proposed measures to protect federal <br />resources and the post- mining land use are consistent with the design features identified in the <br />ROD.
