Both of these signs need to be
updated to reflect the current address used for the Yeast permit. (Photo)
No disturbance area boundary markers were noted along reclaimed haulroad "D ".
TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06
Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4:
Topsoil stockpile footprint "L" was observed. SCC used some of this topsoil for repairs in 2013. Re-
establishment of vegetation on this stockpile footprint is in early stages of establishment. Vegetation is still
dominated by annuals and biennials, but evidence of perennial species emergence was observed.. A few small
patches of Canada thistle were establishing on the south side of the stockpile footprint. Control of these patches
while they are still small in size would help long term management of these noxious weeds.
Topsoil stockpile `B" was inspected. An infestation of Jointed goatgrass was identified at the northern end of the
access to this topsoil pile. Topsoil identification marker was present. The inspector was unable to locate
disturbance area boundary markers along the perimeter of this disturbance area. This topsoil pile has good cover
on the remaining topsoil. Weeds identified along the access and in areas around the pile include Jointed goatgrass,
Canada thistle, and Whitetop. SCC needs to continue weed control efforts in this area.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED
OTHER (SPECIFY)
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS /COMPLIANCE
No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 0
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1
Page 5 of 8
