Mr. Rob Zuber
July 15. 2014
Page 2
issues be identified, the Division would be consulted prior to any field mitigation work
commencing.
2. Station 25 to 30 (Approximate) — On the ground conditions indicate water flows have
moved to the south of the Streeter Ditch to a flat area directly adjacent to the ditch. Tri-
State proposes taking a small rubber tired backhoe and reshaping the ditch where the
water is moving adjacent to the ditch to reestablish the flow back into the Streeter Ditch.
The drainage profile on this segment of ditch is very flat also; however, we believe we
can correct the issue with minor maintenance work and not disturb any native or Phase III
released areas. We believe this course of action should alleviate the lower section of the
ditch from further pooling adjacent to the ditch.
Tri -State requests concurrence from the Division on this proposed course of action.
Should the Division concur with this proposal. Colowyo will commence the proposed mitigation
work as soon as practical. If you should require further clarification on this proposal, please feel
free to contact Tony Tennyson at (303) 254-12' )2 at your convenience.
Sincerely,
4f414 L Gu 1
Barbara A.
