been fully reclaimed. The area worked was approximately 3.8 acres. Concurrent
reclamation was completed during this phase. The sandstone overburden was backfilled
into the excavation left by extraction of the limestone, leveled and contoured. The topsoil
from TS area was spread over the sandstone at a depth of 6" to 12". Seeding was
completed with a mixture of Indian rice grass and Annual rye.
Phase IV Will be stripped and mined. The topsoil will be removed, stockpiled, preserved and
vegetated in TS area or used immediately in reclamation. The sandstone and overburden
material will be stripped and stockpiled south of TS, or placed in areas which have been
mined out as backfill to facilitate concurrent reclamation. This phase is expected to
require 10 years from 2010 to 2020 and will occur concurrently in 2 locations. The total
area worked is expected to be 22 acres.
Phase V Will be stripped and mined. This is expected to require 10 years. The total area worked
at this time is expected to be 30 acres. Reclamation will continue concurrently with
mining through this phase whenever possible as outlined in Phase VI.
Phase VI Reclamation will be completed during this phase. The sandstone overburden will be
pushed back into the excavation left by the limestone leveled and contoured to a slope of
less than 2 to 1. The topsoil will be leveled over the sandstone to a depth of 6" to 12".
The area will be seeded with a mixture of Indian rice grass wheat grass, mountain
mahogany and rabbit brush, to be hand broadcast at 18 lbs per acre, in the spring. This
will be accomplished within 5 years of completion of mining.
EXHIBIT D.(REV)MINE PLAN,ROBERTS QUARRY APRIL 2014,PAGE 3 OF 3
