The Hahns Peak/Bears Ears District Ranger Jamie Kingsbury signed the Decision on
December 16, 2009.
The Decision is to implement the proposed action.
The proposed action will treat approximately 6,445 total acres and would address the purpose and need
with the following actions: Salvage on approximately 4,580 acres with areas of dense understory
excluded from treatment to retain snowshoe hare foraging habitat.
