MCM Response: The specific Permit text discussion relating to the No. 5 Mine Well has been <br />reviewed and revised, as appropriate, to reflect replacement of the well pump in 2011. It should be <br />noted that the replacement pump was specified and ordered to have the same capacity as the pump <br />it replaced. DRMS Response: This item is resolved. <br />6 Permit page 2.05 -15 has a table that provides a listing of all of the petroleum products stored on the site. <br />Given the recent reclamation at the site, particularly at the Multiple Services Building, the information <br />contained in this table is out of date. Please review the Petroleum Product Storage table beginning on permit <br />page 2.05 -15 and update it as necessary based on the recent reclamation at the site. <br />a. MCM Response: The referenced table has been updated to reflect removal of essentially all used <br />petroleum products and other chemicals from the site. A copy of the revised Permit table <br />accompanies these responses for replacement in the PAP. <br />b. DRMS Response: This item is resolved. <br />Permit page 2.05 -16 has a section titled "Waste Disposal Sites ". This section contains information regarding <br />the current refuse pile at the Williams Fork Mines. The section discusses the "almost complete " refuse pile at <br />the No. 9 Mine site. This refuse pile was, however, reclaimed in 2009. Please update permit page 2.05 -16 to <br />reflect the current reclamation status of the refuse pile at the No. 9 Mine site. Please include a comment <br />verifying that the required four feet of cover was placed on the pile (permit page 2.05 -29). <br />a. MCM Response: The Permit discussion of Mine waste disposal practices and facilities has been <br />reviewed and updated, as appropriate, to reflect reclamation of the refuse pile area and current <br />conditions. Copies of the revised Permit discussion accompany these responses for replacement in <br />the PAP. <br />b. DRMS Response: This item is resolved. <br />8. Permit page 2.05 -16 has a section titled "Waste Disposal Sites". This section contains information regarding <br />the current refuse pile at the Williams Fork Mines. There is also a solid waste disposal site that was permitted <br />in November 2007 (with TR -34) that should be included in this section. Please add a description of the solid <br />waste disposal site that was permitted with TR -34 in November 2007 to the Waste Disposal Sites section on <br />permit page 2.05 -16. If MCM intends for this section to only contain information regarding coal waste <br />disposal, please rename the section "Coal Waste Disposal Sites". <br />a. MCM Response: The Permit discussion of Mine waste disposal practices and facilities has been <br />reviewed, revised, and updated, as appropriate, to consolidate the information on handling and <br />disposal of coal and non -coal wastes and to reflect current conditions. Permit pages 2.05 -17 and 2.05 -18 contain a discussion of Haul Road A. These pages do not flow properly. <br />Page 2.05 -17 ends with a completed paragraph and page 2.05 -18 begins in the middle of a sentence, starting <br />"54 tons, will be used to transport coal. " Please review the text on page 2.05 -17 and 2.05 -18 and correct as <br />necessary. <br />a.
