Box 1488 <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />Re: Bowie No. 1 Mine (Permit No. C- 1981 -038) <br />Review of lst Quarter 2014 Pond Inspection Reports <br />Dear Mr. Bear: <br />The Division has received and reviewed BRL's 1St Quarter 2013 Pond Inspection Reports for the <br />Bowie No. I Mine. The inspections were conducted in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17) and the <br />reports were submitted in a timely manner. No potential hazards were identified in the report. <br />At the East Mine, Ponds 1, 3 and 4 were found to be dry, as was the West Ridge Pond. Pond 2 <br />held a shallow pool of water. The ROM Pond and Loadout Pond were dry, while the Highway <br />Pond held approximately two feet of water.
