DRMS WORST CASE RECLAMATION BOND CALCULATION EXHIBIT L
As shown on Map F -1, Reclamation Plan, the site will be restored to high altitude rangeland, and
some commercial area around some of the buildings that will remain. The worst case reclamation
scenario at the Revenue Mine will take place early in the mine life, when the entire Revenue
waste pile is opened up and the 4.53 acres of Atlas pile has also been opened. Also, the additional
disturbance in the lower storage area of 0.37 acres will be utilized. It is expected that the worst
case reclamation scenario will occur at the end of 2014 when the areas described above are
opened, but no topsoil has yet been imported for the reclamation. It is assumed that the
underground development for the mill and additional underground storage will be completed at
this point. It is at this time in the mine's life that the greatest amount of earthwork needs to be
conducted for successful reclamation. The redesigned Mine Water Pond from TR -01 in September
of 2013 will remain after reclamation. For the worst case, all three sediment ponds will be
backfilled and reclaimed. All collection ditches and diversions will be maintained over the life of
the reclamation process but will not be reclaimed. They will be allowed to fill in naturally.
The new temporary tailings storage area concrete foundation will eventually be backfilled with
tailings in the future and will not require removal. However, for the worst case, an extra amount
of backfill has been added to the bond, assuming that the foundation is not yet covered with
tailings.
Worst case reclamation details are shown below:
• Grading all of the disturbed areas steeper than 3H:1V to 3H:1V. The retaining wall near the
dry building will be bulldozed and backfilled as part of the reclamation process. All wood
and steel will be removed from the site.
• Topsoil required is based on the areas shown on Map F -1 multiplied by the respective
required thicknesses. For final full reclamation of the mine, all waste /tailings area require
Revenue Mine June 2014 L -1
