The seep on the backfill material on the south side is
also drying up. See Photo below of the two stakes placed at the top of the seepage. The lower stake was the
original demarcation and the upper stake (at 7 feet) is the highest point of saturation. The saturation level is now
about two feet below the upper stake at @ 5 feet up- slope. The French Drain ditch is flowing and has a significant
bloom of Algae (see Photo No 2). I measured the flow in the flume at 9:45 a.m. and it was flowing at a depth of
.21 ft which = 24.9 gpm about 5 gpm less than yesterday. There are no new areas of concern. No earth
movement or slides have occurred to date. At 10:20 a.m. I measured the flow at the Outfall 016 discharge and it
was 290.4 gpm.
There was no flow in the Fontanari ditch and it has completely dried up. The Carey Pond is also dry with a damp
bottom. This indicates to me that the ground is very permeable at this location as this pond was entirely full a
short time ago. See Photo No 3 below of the Carey Pond.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED None
OTHER (SPECIFY)
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0
Page 2 of 5
