C 1 Public 1.3782 4 PUBLIC NOTICE Seneca Coal Comparry L LC, 38600 CR 27, Hayden, CO 81639-0670, (CDRMS Permit No. C 1980 -005, approved September 23, 1981) is requesting release of Phase III bond lability on 271.2 acres of its reclaimed lands at the Seneca II Mine. A surety bond in the amount of $429,424 is currently in place and $429,424 Is being requested for release. The Phase ill Bond Release Request is on re claimed areas that have received Phase II bond release and where reclaimed vegeta- tion has met success criteria, the approved post -min rig land use has been achieved, and hydrology assessments have been suc cesshl. The requested areas were revege tated from the beginning of mining through 2003 In accordance with the Colorado Divl- slon of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (CDRMS) rules and regulations. The Seneca II Mine is located approximately nine (9) miles southeast of Hayden, Colo- rado. The specific area to which this bond release request applies is included in por itors of the following sections located within the permit area: T5N, RB7W Section 1:SE/4, Portions of NE/4NE/4SW /4 and S /2NE/4 Section l2:Porlions ofNE/4and E/2NW /4 T5N,RB6W Section 6: W /2W /2SW /4 Section 7: W /2N W /4N W /4, W 2SW /4N W/4 All west of the 6th Principal Meridian; totaling 386.5 acres.
