Rule 2.04.7(2)(b)(i). If new surface water monitoring sites are established, map <br />M30 will need to be updated. <br />iii. Trapper's Response #2: Permit page 24141 has been updated with current <br />preliminary baseline information for Jeffway and Deacon Gulch. Further <br />information relevant to this section will be added as it is obtained. Map M30 <br />will be updated at a later time when observation flumes are installed. <br />11. For the expansion area, please submit a map that depicts the location and extent of sub - surface water, if <br />encountered within the proposed permit and adjacent areas, including but not limited to areal and <br />vertical distribution of aquifers, and an estimate of seasonal variations of aquifer characteristics on cross <br />section and contour maps as appropriate; in accordance with rule 2.04.7(4)(c). <br />a. Trapper's Response: The required information will be contained within the upcoming <br />2013 Annual Hydrology Report. The location and extent of sub - surface water will be <br />included in the Water -Level Elevation maps in the 2013 AHR. The proposed new permit <br />boundary will be added to these maps at that time, with the existing permit boundary also <br />included for reference. <br />b. Division's Response: Sections 2.7.5.3 and 2.7.5.3a of Trappers permit discusses baseline <br />groundwater levels and contains narratives, tables, figures and maps with the required <br />information from Rule 2.04.7(4)(c) for the current permit area. Please revise these sections <br />with baseline information for the expansion area or provide a new section containing the <br />required information for the expansion area. The M54 map series depicts the pre -mine <br />water level elevations in the various aquifers at the site; please update these maps with for <br />the expansion area or provide a new map of the M54 series with this information. <br />c. Trapper's Response #2: Please see the revised map M54 series concerning groundwater <br />elevations for the mine -site and expansion areas. <br />3.3.31 East Panel Landslide Geotechnical Evaluation <br />�0. On page 3 -27b, Stations 5 to 8 have replaced Stations 1 to 4 that were listed previously. For the <br />purposes of continuity, a new paragraph should be inserted at the top of page 3 -27b which gives a <br />brief description of what happened to the original four stations, and when the current stations were <br />placed in service. <br />a. Trapper's Response: Information has been added to enclosed page 3 -27b addressing site <br />installation dates, equipment installed at each monitoring station, and removal dates for <br />individual stations. In addition, Figure 3.3.3 -1 (enclosed page 3 -27c) has been updated to <br />reflect current station locations and Table 3.3-4 (enclosed page 3 -27d) is updated to reflect <br />current active locations. Enclosed page 3 -27a is revised to correct a typo. <br />b. Division's Response: Please update the aerial photo map on page 3 -27c to depict all eight <br />monitoring stations. Also, please include a date on the map for the aerial photograph used. <br />c. Trapper's Response #2: The aerial photo map on page 3 -27c has been updated as <br />requested and is attached. <br />
