EXHIBIT A <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION and LOCATION MAP <br />The Crystal Hill Project is located in the Crystal Hill Mining District, west of the San Luis Valley, in <br />south - central Saguache County, Colorado. All planned activity will be located in the SE Y of <br />Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 6 East, New Mexico Prime Meridian at the site of the <br />historic Crystal Hill open pit mine. The main entrance is located at 37° 56' 33.39" N, 106° 18' <br />43.69" W. <br />The Crystal Hill mine lies near the drainage divide between upper Biedeli Creek and Sanderson <br />Gulch, in the foothills of the La Garita Range. The area around the mine is moderately hilly, <br />generally open land with infrequent stands of pinon and juniper woodland. <br />Road access to Crystal Hill is from the town of La Garita via eight miles of graded road along <br />Biedell Creek, or alternately via 13 miles of graded road along Sanderson Gulch. <br />The operations for which this application is made includes reactivation of the old Crystal Hill <br />open pit. All operations will be located on patented claims. Patented claims controlled are: <br />Adelia, Adriatic, Atlantic, Baltic, Buckhorn, Celtic, Oceanic, Queen of Sheba, Esperanza, Carnero <br />and Antonio. Unpatented lode claims are XTAL 1 -10 (CMC280780 — CMC280769), CREST 1 -10 <br />(CMC283021— CMC283030), and POND 1 -10 (CMC284265 -- CMC284274). <br />Total ground disturbance from the operation will be less than 10 acres and limited to inside the <br />historic open pit and on the adjacent, historic waste dump. <br />LOCATION MAP ATTACHED: <br />Location Map With Road Access <br />
