TAPPER IIIININO INC.
June 25, 2014
Mr. Jared Ebert
Environmental Protection Specialist
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 RECEIVED
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Ebert: JUN 3 0 2014
RE: Trapper Mining Inc., Permit C -81 -010 Division of Reclamation,
Second Quarter 2014 Sediment Pond Inspections Mining & Safety
Impoundment inspection results for the Second Quarter of 2014 are enclosed. All impoundment
inspections were conducted by a qualified impoundment inspector. Inspections took place on June 2 "d
through the 6th, 10th and 11th of 2014.
Maintenance items noted during the inspections were as follows:
1. No Name #4 needs to be cleaned.
2. Oak #1 needs to be cleaned.
3. Middle Flume #1 needs to be cleaned.
The actual sediment levels in the ponds were physically measured this month rather than visually
estimated. This clarifies any sediment level discrepancies from the previous inspection. It was
determined that pond No Name #2 does not require cleaning as was stated in the previous inspection
report. However, the sediment level in pond No Name #2 indicates that it does require cleaning. Data
related to pond capacity is attached. The last column on the table provides an estimate of the remaining
capacity in each pond where remaining capacity is defined as the volume remaining after considering the
estimated amount of sediment noted during the inspections.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
11 flu)
lU7 /fr
DO
RIEE
s
aZ, G1= 43864 C,);
Tonia Marie PerkinsA,•
CO PE 43864c!' ►`
C: F.
