Oakridge purchased all surface and a 75 percent undivided interest to the coal on the <br />permit property. <br />A 25 percent undivided interest in the mineral estate has been severed and is <br />appropriately conveyed to OEI. <br />Copies of the right of entry information are located in Appendix 3-2. <br />2.03.7 Relationship to Areas Designated Unsuitable for Mining <br />The area of the proposed activity is not partially or wholly within an area designated <br />unsuitable for surface coal mining operations under Rule 7 or 30 CFR 764; neither are the <br />lands under consideration for designation in an administrative proceeding under Rule 7 or <br />30 CFR 764 and 765. <br />2.03.8 Permit Term Information <br />Surface coal mining operations began in the first quarter of 1983 and subsequently ceased <br />operating temporarily pending more economical coal markets. No further coal mining <br />will occur at the Carbon Junction Mine under this permit. Final reclamation of the mine <br />site commenced in April 2006 and was completed in August 2006, with completion of <br />sediment control system reclamation in 2009. <br />2.03.9Personal Injury and Insurance Information <br />OEI maintains insurance in an amount no less than that required by current CDRMS <br />regulations.
