Shafer, PH.D.
11025 Dover St.,Suite 1000
Westminster,CO. 80021
Re:`60E Uranium Lease Reclamation Plan Approval Request
JD-5 Mine, Burros Mine, Ellison Mine and Hawkeye Mine
Dear Dr.Shafer,
In accordance with the requirements of Gold Eagle Mining Inc.'s (GEMI) May 21, 2014 Stipulation and
Declaratory Order (which was issued under the authority of Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board) please
find attached the now-approved reclamation plans for the above-captioned properties. The reclamation
requirements were determined through discussions with the Colorado Division Reclamation Mining and Safety
(DRMS) and DOE's representative, this in conjunction with a site visit and inspection convened on May 16,
2013.
3 The DOE was actively involved in the reclamation considerations and had responded to the reclamation plans
previously on September 26, 2013 stating in part that:
"The lessee shall return all disturbed areas to their original condition or a condition acceptable to the
Realty Officer (emphasis added) promptly after damage to such areas has occurred and operation
f under the Lease are no longer being conducted in the disturbed areas"
Given that DOE's representative was present during the site visits (and had agreed to the plans determined in
f
the field at that time) GEMI believes that the conditions which will remain after reclamation remain consistent
N with the DOE's requirement cited above, and should be accepted by the DOE "Realty Officer". Accordingly,
t
please consider these plans for approval within that context.
r Please respond to GEMI's request as your earliest convenience, and if you should have any questions please
contact me.
Sincer y,
4
Y
Don Coram, President
Gold Eagle Mining Inc.
CC: Ed Cotter-Uranium Leasing Program Lead
S.M.Stoller Corporation
Mr.Tony Waldron, DRMS
Mr.Jeff Parson, INFORM
i
