EXHIBIT "G"
WATER INFORMATION
(1) This operation is not expected to directly affect surface or groundwater systems. Historically
no ground water has been discovered in the local area that the permit covers.
(2) Since this operation is not expected to directly affect surface or groundwater systems, items
(a) (b) and (c) are not necessary. However some of the information is supplied as a matter of
course.
(a) On the map (EXHIBIT "C") there are no watercourses shown, none run through the permit
boundary. Neither are there any wells, springs, on the affected lands or closer than 600 feet
on adjacent lands.
(b) There are no known aquifers to be identified. This area is a terrace gravel deposit and no
aquifers are known.
(c) There will be no dewatering operation or runoff from disturbed areas. A low earthen berm
will be placed around areas of excavation to prevent runoff from the pit area. A Stormwater
Discharge Permit and associated Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) will be developed for
this operation.
(3) There will be no water requirements for processing the product. All products produced will
be processed dry and no water is added. Mining and reclamation phases will not require water.
(4) As stated above water will not be required or involved for the washing of product.
(5) A Stormwater Discharge permit will be applied for from the Water Quality Control Division
of the Colorado Department of Health and associated Stormwater Management Plan will be
developed.
