(TCC) <br />Roads Rule 4.03 <br />11 roads were in good shape and well maintained. Adequate crowns on haul roads were sloped <br />positively to ensure proper drainage. No problems were identified. <br />i ns and Markers Rule 4.02): <br />The mine identification sign at the entrance from County Rd. 27 is intact and contained all <br />necessary information in accordance with 4.02.2. The disturbed area perimeter has been marked <br />with steel fence post in accordance with 4.02.3. However, there were several areas observed <br />during the inspection where the disturbance boundary markers were out of place. In some <br />instances, it is apparent that as construction has advanced, the disturbance markers were not <br />moved. The operator representative did remove the markers along the temporary drainage that <br />lads to the Pit 1 Pond and place them in the correct location while we were on site. <br />Additionally, the disturbance area markers on the south side of the CRDA were not in the correct <br />locations of the approved disturbance area during the inspection. Therefore, identifying the areas <br />approved for disturbance was difficult to determine. <br />The topsoil stockpile markers were nonexistent at soil piles east of the CRDA expansion area but <br />viere identified as a maintenance item per the April 2014 DRMS inspection report. <br />CI oal Mine Waste Piles (Rule 4.10 and 4.11) <br />The original Coal Refuse Disposal Area and the Coal Refuse Disposal Area expansion (CRDA) <br />4e located in the southwest area of Pit 1. The CRDA has been designed to accommodate <br />temporary placement and permanent disposal of coal refuse material. At the time of inspection, <br />both the original CRDA and the expansion CRDA are active refuse piles in construction. <br />(J RDA- Expansion <br />Stockpiled coal refuse material at the CRDA expansion area was being spread to facilitate drying <br />and compacting was underway at the time of our inspection. This refuse material will eventually <br />tie into the original CRDA. Since expansion is in the early phases, this material has not yet <br />
