Staging, construction of a temporary road and a portion of the drainage repair will take place within
the existing PSCM permit boundary in an area just east of the warehouse in the NE portion of the
SW '/4 SE '/a of Section 27, T6NR87W. An area known as the " Boneyard" (refer to Facilities Map
(North End) Map 2.05.3 M 1 B) will be used to stage equipment. Access to the eroded gully to the
east from the boneyard area will require a temporary road to be constructed. Both the boneyard and
a portion of the temporary road, as well as the pond and a small portion of the damaged channel are
within the permit boundary and create the potential for sediment runoff to PSCM's permitted Small
Area Exemptions (SAE's).
Best Management Practices (BMP's) will be implemented to contain any sediment generated during
earth moving and revegetation activities. Erosion control BMP's to be implemented include
placement of silt fence or wattles along excavated areas and at the toe of slopes being disturbed by
construction activities. Two temporary culverts will be installed to route drainage underneath the
temporary road that will be removed as part of the access road reclamation. All disturbed areas
within the existing permit boundary will be restored to existing conditions including seeding with
the approved seed mix as specified in the mining permit. The AML group will also monitor the site
to ensure slope stability, revegetation success, and to control noxious weeds in following years until
the site is fully reclaimed.
MR 25 -14 2.05 -33.1 Revision 06/2014
