Collins, Co 80528
The site was sprayed for noxious weeds Sunday June 23. Principal noxious weeds
detected included
Noxious Weed Infestation Level Recommendation
Canadian thistle Very light Spray 2014
Bindweed medium Follow,up 2014
Tamarisk medium Spray 2014
Bur dock Very light Spray 2014
Overall the site was similar to previous years, however due to the drought from 2012
we saw an increased in noxious weeds present. This probably was due to the fact that
they did not germinate in 2012 and with the heavy spring rains they germinated in
2013. This resulted In more hours and chemical usage. Most of these weeds were
located away from the working site on old berms and site edges.
We also saw the presence on the noxious weed "Knapweed". I would
recommend it be followed up with a secondary treatment in the near future.
Chemical Usage by Location Chart
Chemical Amount used Cost/Unit Sub Total
Tor don 2.5 gal $81/gal $202.5
Roundup 1 gal $42/gallon $42.00
Surfactant $10 $ 10.00
Octane $20/tank $20 quart $20.00
D amine(aquati 2.5 gal 22.25 gal $55.62
