June 2, 2014 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine
JLE
elsewhere at the site. At the time, Trapper was planning on moving the whole pile, but their mine plan changed
and it became un- necessary to move the stockpile. According to Mr. Nicholson the scraper crew removed all of
the topsoil from the road corridor observed during this inspection. Essentially, this operation left two stockpiles
on each side of the old scraper path and Trapper began to use this corridor as an access road. Subsequently,
Trapper reshaped the side slopes of the pile and seeded them. However, Trapper had not updated the survey of the
topsoil stockpile which is reported in the annual reclamation report every year. During the inspection Trapper re-
surveyed the stockpiles and updated the 2013 Annual Reclamation Report map to reflect the actual shape of piles.
The perimeter of each pile was marked with the approved topsoil boundary markers and Trapper cut a ditch
around each of the piles for further protection.
Topsoil pile E97 -6 was marked and stable.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED
1.) 2012 and 2013Development Drilling Report; dated June 3, 2014
2.) 1R113; Map 1, Sheet 3, Update.
