Such stockpile areas must be included in the affected areas and <br />subject to all reclamation requirements: <br />There is no topsoil present, therefore none will be salvaged or stockpiled. <br />(4) Once stockpiled, the topsoil shall be re- handled as little as possible until <br />replacement on the regarded, disturbed areas: <br />There is no topsoil present, therefore none will be replaced <br />(5) The Operator shall take measures necessary to assure the stability of <br />replaced topsoil on graded slopes such as roughing in final grading to eliminate <br />slippage zones that my develop between the deposited topsoil and heavy textured <br />spoil surfaces: <br />The proposed disturbed areas will simply be graded to blend in with the surrounding area. <br />No topsoil will be replaced since none is currently present. <br />(6) Topsoil substitute: <br />No topsoil substitute will be placed on the regraded affected area since only small areas <br />of any one waste dump will be disturbed. <br />(7) When growing media is replaced, it shall be done in as even a manner as <br />possible. Fertilizer or other soil amendments shall be added: <br />No growth media will be replaced. <br />(8) Vegetative piles shall be removed from the area or utilized in accordance <br />with the Reclamation Plan: <br />There will be no vegetative piles. <br />3.1.10 Revegetation: <br />(1) In those areas where revegetation is part of the Reclamation Plan, land shall <br />be revegetated in such a way as to establish a diverse, effective, and long lasting <br />vegetative cover that is capable of self - regeneration without continues dependence <br />on irrigation, soil amendments or fertilizer, and is at least equal in extent of cover <br />the natural vegetation of the surrounding area: <br />With the exception of scattered pines on some of the dumps and other dumps bare of <br />vegetation, no seeding is planned. Given the limited aerial extent of our sampling <br />program, we will be able to work around most pine trees. Any pine trees which must be <br />removed will be disposed offsite at an approved disposal facility or used as fire wood. <br />16 <br />
