Wildlife Species list: -3 <br /> There are several hundred vertebrate wildlife species known to occur <br /> in Logan County. However, his particular site provides suitable habitat for very few species due ai! <br /> to the impacts from historic mining operations. Some of the wildlife species that would most likely O i <br /> be found on the site or in the surrounding vicinity would include: Mule Deer, White-tailed Deer, "6R.La <br /> Black-tailed Jackrabbit, Coyote, Striped Skunk, Raccoon, Horned Lark, Western Kingbird, mN;� <br /> Western Meadowlark , Mourning Dove, Northern Harrier, American Kestrel, Bull Snake, Plains <br /> 5 <br /> Garter Snake, and Western Box Turtle. Endangered/critical species impacted: �N= <br /> 00E= <br /> .+qq <br /> There are no known State or Federal endangered or threatened �aa <br /> species inhabiting the project area. <br /> 5. Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br /> The site has no significant habitat values or plant communities. Plant <br /> species found on the site are mostly annual weeds as a result of soil disturbance from mining <br /> activities. <br /> 6. Assessment of impact: <br /> Impacts to native wildlife populations will be minimal to none. During <br /> the mining operations some individuals may be displaced temporarily from the area due to <br /> disturbance from equipment and increased human activities. With proper reclamation of the site, <br /> long-term impacts should be insignificant. <br /> 7. Mine Reclamation recommendations : <br /> Re-grade the site to blend in with existing topography and reseed <br />
