TOO/Tc I/TA K/ -F6 W
STATE OF
COLORADO
Melanie Cooper / Pueblo
Melanie Cooper <beyondpanic@icloud.com> Wed, Jun 4, 2014 at 7:30 AM
To: Tyler O'Donnell - DNR<tyler.odonnelI@state.co.us>
I received your letter, it really didn't say anything more than the same old thing, nor did it address some of the
questions I have had over the past years.
The state water guy was here from Denver, he also said our water comes from basically the north, not like it says
in the first letter. Tim would know what I'm talking about.
I wasn't happy about the extension on the dirt pile, many times I told Tim they weren't even working on it. The
rain and snow were practically nil during that time frame and wind or not we STILL get the blowing dirt.
Since we haven't had any rain or heavy snow, there's no way to see what Judy's pasture or mine will do, since
Judy's was to be a test area, but again they dug it all up.
I now have a lot more holes, some of which my 48 in. yard stick won't hit bottom. Some are next to Judy's side
of my pasture. My neighbor on the other side mowed her weeds and found holes not far from my fence line close
to my garage on the north of my house (to give you an idea where they are now showing up). My grass is really
beginning to scare me, I know any minute I'm going to get hurt.
Tim said my holes are not like Judy's that they would have to figure out a different way to dig them up. I would
like to know what kind of arrangement that would be.
Thanks,
Melanie Cooper
719-247-7548
Sent from my iPad
O'Donnell - DNR, Tyler<tyler.odonnel I @state.co.us> Wed, Jun 4, 2014 at 9:09 AM
To: Melanie Cooper<beyondpanic@icloud.com>
Melanie,
Thank you for the email. Who did you speak to regarding the groundwater flow? I think we would like to speak to
that person as well, could you please provide us with their contact information. Any Information they have
regarding the groundwater flow could help in our investigation.
Thank you
Tyler
[Quoted text hidden]
Tyler O'Donnell
Environmental Protection Specialist
