Creation of a discharge at some other point. It is difficult to say with certainty that <br /> using the north drift will not result in a discharge to the surface at some unknown <br /> point. However, Maisie has not observed any evidence that surface discharges would <br /> occur. Prior to Maisie's involvement in the Capital Prize Mine it was often the <br /> practice to divert all the drainage into the north drift. This practice did not result in <br /> drainage escaping through the north portal and presumably not from other surface <br /> locations.
