According to the report two <br />exceedances of NPDES effluent criteria occurred during the <br />2013 water year. The 9.0 limit for pH was exceeded during <br />May 2013 at Outfall 013 with a value of 9.53 and the total <br />recoverable iron value of 1 mg /I was exceeded during April at <br />Outfall 011 with a value of 3.61 mg /I. <br />Based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety and the Water <br />Quality Control Division (WQCD), the WQCD will be <br />responsible for enforcing CDPS permit conditions. <br />8. Basic Standards for <br />CWQCC regulations <br />The manganese standard was exceeded nine times at six <br />Surface Water <br />31.1.11 <br />Sites. Based on CWQCC reg. 31, the standard of 0.2 mg /I, <br />applies to plants grown in acidic soils ( <6.0 pH). In alkaline <br />
