<br />Routt County Road 27, PO Box 250, Hayden,
<br />CO 81639, has filed withthe Colorado Divi-
<br />sion of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety
<br />(DRMS), an application for Permit Revision
<br />(No. 1) to the Sage Creek Mine, Permit
<br />C-09 -087. This permit revision is for the ex-
<br />tension of continuous miring sections and
<br />expansion to longwall mining, Including an
<br />increase in the miring permit boundary area.
<br />The mine permit area, encompassing ap-
<br />proximately 10,546 acres, is located approxi-
<br />mately nine miles south of the Town of Hay-
<br />den, Colorado, off Routt County Road 27.
<br />The general legal description for lands af-
<br />fected by the Mine Permit Application Pack-
<br />age (PAP) are located in Township 5 North,
<br />Range 87 West, all or portions of Sections 1,
<br />2, 3 ,4,5,A9,10.11,12,13,14,15,18,21,
<br />22 and 23; and Township 6 North, Range 87
<br />West, all or portions of Sections 27, 28, 29,
<br />32, 33, 34, 35, and 366
<br />The permit term is for five (5) years. Affects
<br />comprise only asmall portbn of the entire
<br />permit area but include subsidence of ap-
<br />proximately 2.0 miles of Routt County Road
<br />#27, located primarily in Sections 15 and 22
<br />(Township 5N Range 87W). Surface and coal

<br />Include Sage Creek Holdings, LLC; the State
<br />of Colorado; and the U.S. Department of In-
<br />terior (Bureau of Land Management). The
<br />ownership, prec Ise location, and boundaries
<br />of lands within the permit area are Identified
<br />In Section 2.03, and on Map 2.03-101, of the
<br />PAP, and are included in this public notice by
<br />reference.
<br />Copies of the PAP, Including the referenced
<br />Permit Revision application, are available for
<br />inspect ion at the mine office and the office of
<br />the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mir,
<br />ing, and Safety. A copy of the Permit Revi-
<br />sion application is also available for public in-
<br />spection at the Hayden Public Ubrary and on
<br />line at via the Division of Reclamation Miring
<br />and Safety website.
