7. A thorough review of ME species occurred within the last year during Permit Revision
#8. We are not aware of any additions since then. No additional changes are warranted at this
time.
8. The discrepancy concerning the `Affected area' originated from MR -156. An increase of
1.56 acres was warranted due to a portion of the new roads falling outside of the subsidence area.
An increase of 7.22 acres was instead applied which included all proposed disturbance. 5.66
acres of this disturbance was already accounted for in the `Affected area' since it was `Affected'
by planned subsidence.
The discrepancy concerning the `Disturbed area' was traced back to MR -145 and MR-
157. In MR -145 an increase of 4.52 acres was inadvertently omitted from the approval form.
For MR -157, which was approved after MR -158, the base acreages used came from MR -156.
Thus eliminating the 0.52 acres of net disturbance reduction associated with MR -158. A total
increase of 4.00 acres to the Division's last Revision Decision (MR -157) document total
disturbed acreage is needed.
An additional 2.41 acres of disturbance was added to account for the recently submitted
MR -159.
A revised page 3 of the renewal application form is attached with the proper corrections
made which reflects the appropriate accounting of the current acreage figures.
Page 4 was also updated to increase the estimated life of mine to 20 years.
9.
