Compliance With Mine Plan <br />NA - Support Facilities Not On -site <br />NA - Other <br />NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NA - Processing Waste <br />N - Topsoil <br />COMMENTS <br />This was a partial coal inspection of the Yoast Mine site conducted by Jason Musick of the Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining, and Safety. The weather was clear and warm and the mine site was dry at the time of the <br />inspection. This partial inspection focused on the southern-most established drainages of the permit area. No <br />activities associated with the site were being conducted at the time of the inspection. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />The post mining land use for the Yoast Mine includes wildlife habitat. A small elk herd was observed near the <br />area of undisturbed lands to the west of the YPM -1 -3 drainage. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.053; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage — Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />This partial inspection focused on the southern established drainages of the Yeast Mine permit area. Established <br />drainages YPM - 1 -1, YPM - 2, YPM - 1 -2, YPM - 18, YPM - 1 -3, YPM - 19, YPM - 6 -1, YPM - 3 -1, YPM - 3- <br />IA, YPM - 3 -2, YPM - 14, YPM - 3 -2A, Diversion 13A, YPM - 17, YPM - 4 -2, YPM - 4 -2, YPM - 4, YPM - 5- <br />IA, YPM - 5 -1, YPM - 6-3, YPM - 6 -2, YPM - 6 -2A, and YPM - 6 -1 were observed during this inspection. No <br />problems or evidence of instability were noted during this on the ground inspection of the drainages.
