I <br />will respond to your May 15, 2014 adequacy review letter in the <br />order presented. <br />1. Walsenburg Sand and Gravel will commit to providing the <br />additional information listed. It is our understanding that <br />if during any given year no slopes are created, then no <br />additional reporting would be needed. If slope are created <br />this information woula draw a baseline rrom which future <br />reclamation sloping responsibilities would be determined <br />should there be damage created by water flow in the arroyo. <br />2. When I wrote the text I assumed the slope would be totally <br />removed and did not consider what happened to the slopes <br />themselves if they remain for long periods. <br />Once sloping is completed then Walsenburg Sand and Gravel <br />will shape the seedbed and revegetate the final graded area <br />with the approved seedmix as soon as possible during the <br />existing or next growing season. The upper edge will be <br />graded to divert runoff from the surrounding area around the <br />finished slopes to prevent surface water from passing down <br />the slope and creating rills and gullies as much as possi- <br />
