Expected Results: Although there are numerous previously recorded prehistoric isolated finds <br />and sites within a mile of the project area; there are few archaeological sites recorded in the <br />immediate surroundina areas. despite the fact that a larae amount of survev has been <br />conducted. Cultural resources are dominated by isolated finds. Therefore. historic and <br />prehistoric isolated finds were expected during the current inventory. Specifically, there was low <br />potential for encountering significant cultural resources during this study due to the fact that the <br />majority of the survey area consisted of disturbed cow pasture close to county roads. <br />Furthermore, the existing two -track roads in the area are used to access existing powerlines and <br />private ranch lands: therefore visitation to the area is common. <br />
