ambient -based standard for iron (8.06 mg /1) was exceeded
with a value of 10.2 mg /1. This well exceeded the standard
for iron (10.4 mg /1) in 2012. Well DCAL -02 did not exceed the
TDS standard, 3195 mg /1.
18. Basic Standards for
CWQCC regulations 41.4
The Seneca II -W Mine did not generate significant amount of
Ground Water
and 41.5
Ieachates in 2013. Four groundwater wells exceeded the
manganese standard (0.2 mg /1) in 2013. As mentioned in the
above item number 8 above, in soils with a high pH a
standard of 10 mg /I would be more appropriate than the .2
mg /1. In 2013 none the Seneca II -W wells displayed a value
higher than 1.57 mg /1. Three groundwater wells excceded
the iron standard (5.0 mg /1) in 2013, including well DCAL -02.
The pH standard (6.5 — 8.5) was excceded at one site.
