Silver Hill Mining Company
303 Brimfield Road
Wethersfield, CT 06109
August 5, 2013
Bob Oswald
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
Durango Field Office
691 County Road 233. Suite A2
Durango, CO 81301
Mr. Oswald:
I am the President of Silver Hill Mining Company that is the owner of the Crystal Hill in
Saguache County, Colorado. It has come to my attention that Mr. Edward F. Johnson, the
former Lessee of the Crystal Hill mine, has contacted your office regarding the Crystal
Hill mine.
Mr. Johnson's Lease has been legally terminated, and I have no contact with Mr.
Johnson. He has no legal authority to be on the property or to be in contact with you or
the State of Colorado regarding any current or new activities after the termination date of
his Lease. If Mr. Johnson should ever enter the mine site, Silver Hill Mining Company
will considered this to be a trespass.
Furthermore, a Motion for Default Judgment was granted by the Saguache County
District Court on February 29, 2012 (Case No. 2011CV54) affirming that Mr. Johnson's
Lease agreement is null and void.
Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
Mary Pollock, President
