2.03.8 Permit Term Information <br />(1) Surface mining activities (open pit or strip mining) are not planned within the <br />permit area. <br />(2) Activities began at the site in 1977. Mining was only extended approximately <br />2500 feet into the reserve block and then all mining ceased. Approximately <br />38.2 acres will be affected during the life of the mine plan. <br />(3) The Applicant may conduct underground mining activities in excess of 5 <br />years.
