MANAGEMENT
DBMS' letter dated April 24, 2014 transmitted its adequacy review for the referenced
minor revision. On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, BRL, following are its responses to
the DRMS' comments and concerns:
1. Pages 2.05 -125ii and 2.05 -133 were revised to indicate that flume installation,
removal, or any other in- stream work will not take place between June 1st and
September 1st. The CPW recommended methods to disinfect materials and
equipment to be used in- stream were added to pages 2.05 -125ii and 2.05 -133.
2. The flumes will be installed under Corps nationwide Permit Number 5 (NWP -5).
Installation of small weirs and flumes constructed primarily to record water
quantity and velocity are preapproved by the Corps provided the discharge is
limited to 25 cubic yards. There is no preconstruction notification required for
NWP -5.
3. BRL provided USDA -FS with the location of the flume that will be installed on
USDA -FS managed land.
4. The attached new Map 43 shows the flume locations and details.
5. BRL accepts the DRMS' $411.96 reclamation estimate.
Two sets of permit pages are provided. Pages iv, 2.05 -125 and 2.05 -125ii are provided
so they can be incorporated into the current permit. Pages iv, 2.05 -132 and 2.05 -133
