5/6/2014 State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - C1996083 MR -150 and PR-14- Comments Recieved
b) to deliver 6 1/2 ft of water would probably take 7 -8 ft of water at the point of insertion
c) a minimum of 3 ft culvert to carry 8 ft of water, maybe larger to account for trash passing through
d) one would need multiple monitors, perhaps as many as one per panel to identify a loss of 1 -2 ft in this steep
rocky canyon
e) There are no roads to haul in culvert. Helicopter would have to fight a canopy of Spruce, so access problem
f) the creek bed itself is nothing but large boulders, so installation would have to be terraced.
g) and supported how?
TDRC does not see any practical way to augment water in West Terror Creek in a timely fashion. At a minimum
installing culverts of this size in this canyon would take way too long, a week or more to prevent substantial injury
to our water users.
Thank -you for your consideration in this matter,
Terror Ditch and Reservoir Co.
https: / /mai l.g oog le.conVmai 1 /u /0 / ?ui =2 &i Ire29129fcb5 &viev-- pt &search =i nbox&th =145d 1 f3l54781 d89 &si ml= 145dlf3l5478l d89 2/2
