Hi h: 53 °F to 59 °F <br />Cloud Cover: Partly cloudy to overcast. <br />Low: 20 °F to 33 °F Precipitation: None <br />i Wind: Variable <br />Ain es: Continuing construction tasks for the VLF <br />Planning: Continuing construction activities and scheduling for the VLF. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES and PROGRESS: <br />1) Earthworks <br />A) VLF (PSSA, Phase I, Phase 11) <br />Topsoil I Overburden Stripping: No topsoil stripping occurred. <br />Production drilling: Production drilling occurred within the VLF limits. <br />Production blasting: Four (4) production blasts occurred within the VLF. <br />Structural Fill: <br />A Cat 992G loader assisted by a Cat D10 dozer and Cat D9 dozer filled Cat 777 haul trucks with shot rock from the <br />PSSA floor area and from underground working 6273. A John Deere 850 excavator loaded Cat 740 haul trucks with <br />structural fill from the Yz:1 slope downslope of stations C0+00 to C4+00. Material from all locations was transported <br />to the Buttress fill area with the exception of select 740 loads that were hauled to the Rip Rap pre- screen stockpile. <br />The material transported to the Buttress fill was placed upslope of stations J6+00 to J14+00 with Cat D9 dozer. A <br />Cat 330 excavator equipped with a rock hammer broke apart oversize material and a Cat CS56 smooth drum roller <br />compacted the fill per project specification. <br />Structural fill was placed by a Cat D8 GPS dozer upslope from stations C6+00 to C8+00. The fill was graded <br />downslope from stations E0+00 to E4+00 by Cat dozers and compacted by a Cat CS56 smooth drum roller. The <br />structural fill was placed and compacted per project specification. <br />Cat dozers rough graded the slope between stations DD6+00 to DD18+00 and B0+00 to B14+00. Some of the <br />material was placed as structural fill on the Victor -side PSSA construction access ramp.
