PUBLIC NOTICE
<br />Moffat County Mining, LLC (MCM), 29515 Routt County Road 27, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, has
<br />submitted an application for a Technical Revisions (TR) to the Williams Fork Mines, Permit Number
<br />C -81 -044. The revision (TR14 -36) incorporates a number of updates and revisions to the Permit
<br />Application Package (PAP) which respond to both Permit Mid -Term and Permit Renewal comments
<br />from the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (CDRMS).
<br />The mine permit area encompasses approximately 6,361 acres, located approximately 7 miles south of
<br />Craig, Colorado on both sides of State Highway 13. The Mine is currently in Temporary Cessation,
<br />there are no active mining or reclamation activities occurring on site, and current activities are limited
<br />to environmental monitoring and maintenance of the existing lands and facilities. The Mine Permit
<br />Area is covered by the Round Bottom and Castor Gulch, Colorado USGS 7.5- minute quadrangle maps
<br />and includes approximately four miles of State Highway 13, beginning in the SW1 /4SW1 /4 Section 21,
<br />T6N, R91 W, and extending through portions of Sections 20, 29, 30, and 31 of T6N, R91 W, and
<br />Section 6, T5N, R91 W. The ownership, precise location, and boundaries of lands within the Permit
<br />Area are identified on pages 2.03 -22 through 2.03 -31, 2.03 -34, and Maps 1 and 2 of the Permit
<br />Application Package (PAP), which is available for review in the Moffat County Clerk and Recorders
<br />Office. The Permit Area encompasses all or portions of T5N, R91 W, Sections 4, 5, 6, and 8; T6N,
<br />R91W; Sections 17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33; T5N, R92W, Section 1; and T6N, R92W,
<br />Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36.
<br />Copies of the PAP, including the referenced Technical Revision application, (less confidential
<br />material) are available for inspection at the mine office and the office of the CDRMS. Copies of the
<br />Technical Revision applications are also available for public inspection at the:
