MANAGEMENT
DRMS' letter dated April 22, 2014 transmitted its adequacy review for the referenced
technical revision. On behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC, (BRL) following are its
responses to the DRMS' comments and concerns.
1. No response required. The DRMS accepted BRL's demonstration that
vegetation is adequate to warrant removal of the sediment control structures.
2. BRL agrees there is little if any information regarding final reclamation and
reconstruction of the portion of East Roatcap Creek that underlies the West Mine
sediment ponds. BRL requests DRMS stipulate that a plan needs to be
developed prior to removing the culvert that underlies the sediment ponds. BRL
may decide to reclaim the west mine sediment ponds this year and remove the
culvert next year after a plan for removal and reconstruction has been approved.
3. BRL has no comment at this time regarding the vegetation study issues. BRL
will have the vegetation report revised prior to it being used for a phase 11 bond
release.
Sincerely,
J. E.
