Public Notice r <br />CAM MINING LLC, P.O. Box 98, Loma., <br />CO 81524, has submitted a complete <br />application for a technical revision to <br />the Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety for its Munger Canyon <br />Mine and Loma Loadout, Mining and <br />Reclamation Permit No. C- 1981 -020. <br />Proposed technical revision no. 25 <br />will allow removal of the sediment <br />ponds and alternate sedimentation <br />control structures at the Munger Can• <br />yon Mine's mine portal, refuse pile and <br />lower topsoil stockpile area. <br />The Munger Canyon Mine is located <br />approximately 18 miles north of Loma <br />CO along State Highway 139. East Sah <br />Creek Is located on western portion' <br />of the permit boundary. Most of the <br />surface of the permit area is owned <br />by the United States. The permit area <br />is encompassed within portions o1 <br />Sections 27, 28 and 29 of Township 7 <br />South, Range 102 West, 6th P.M. and <br />Sections 2, 3 and 4 of Township 6 <br />South, Range 102 West, 6th P.M. A por <br />tion of the permit area in section 29 is , <br />owned by t11 Enterprises. <br />The Loma Loadout Is approximately <br />one-half mile east of Loma, Colora- <br />do. The surface of the permit area is <br />owned by the Union Pacific Railroad <br />The permit area is encompassed <br />within portions of the SW 14$W14 of <br />Section 34 Township 2 North, Range <br />3 West, Ute Meridian and Portions o1 <br />the NE/4NW /4 of Section 3 Township, <br />1 North, Range 3 West, Ute Meridian. <br />The mine she sections are contained <br />within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5� <br />minute Howard Canyon and Garveyy° <br />Canyon Quadrangle maps.The.Load• <br />out sections are contained within the <br />U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute <br />Mack Quadrangle Map. <br />A copy of the technical revision appli- <br />cation Is available for public inspec- - <br />tion at the Mesa County Clerk and <br />Recorder's office, 200 S Spruce St., <br />Grand Junction, CO.
